TRAVELLER COMMUNITY HEALTH PROJECT OFFICER- SOUTH WEXFORD

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced, resourceful and empathetic person,
with excellent interpersonal and team skills, to work collaboratively
with Travellers & the Health Services in south Co. Wexford, in
particular in Clonroche, Taghmon, Wexford & New Ross; with the aim of
having a positive impact on Traveller health.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE;
* ?A minimum of 2 years? experience of directly working with
Travellers and/or marginalised groups in an English spoken environment
& demonstrating excellent writing, reporting and communication skills
in English
* On or before **Apply on the website** January **Apply on the
website** have achieved at least Level 7 on the National Framework of
Qualifications OR equivalent relevant training OR professional
experience, in a discipline appropriate to the role ? such as
nursing, health promotion, community development
* Proven knowledge of the policy context with regards to Traveller
Health
* A full clean driving licence as the role will involve outreach and
working directly in local communities across Co Wexford
The position is being offered on a PART TIME BASIS **APPLY ON THE
